Win XP looses proxy server settings

I have several windows xp machines in my company, some of my machines loose their proxy settings in Internet Options-->Connection-->LAN settings....the box "use a proxy server for you LAN" gets unchecked now and then on only some machines... users have to manually check it to go to internet...
why is it loosing proxy sever settings? any solution?

why not build your company a small domain with your proxy as a gateway server and then set up a global user account that forces the use of the proxy.

This is a bug with windows TCP/IP settings. They consider it a feature and will not fix it.

Only solution is always check your proxy settings after any changes or upgrades to your network settings.

I have a novell network (in future may be windows based tcp/ip network), I create a domain.

if there is a bug in TCP/IP of windows xp then why it happens on some particular machines...?
