win xp log in

I get to the log in screen (little icon with my name) I click the icon and it says "koading personal settings, the screen flickers and then it says(saving personal settings0 and remains at the log in screen. I tried to restart in safe mode...same thing also in safe admin mode same result aNY HELP IS APPRECIATED

you may have to do a repair install if you have an install CD http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/... The only thing you will lose are your critical updates. Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
