Thanks for the replies for the question I asked last week.

I came across two kinds of OEM Windows XP Home Full packages in on-line stores.

One package has CD and activation key code only and costs $50-$69. One site says it ships from Eastern Europe. Could very well be pirated version.

The other package comes with Halogram CD, activation key code and COA. It costs $79 and above. I am going with this one.

Does XP need COA for downloading service patches, re-activation etc.?

Thanks in advance
