Hi!
I would like to ask anybody out there who can explain the problem on Win xp installation on my pc.Heres's the information I reformatted the hd seagate 80GB it runs smoothly, then I put my bootable win xp cd on the drive and completely installed all win xp files on the last part of the installation it prompts me to reboot, Here's my problem now it can't load winodws xp instllation the monitor led it keeps on blinking.I already tried replacing the video card but the problem is still the same. What is the best posible remedy? I just want find an answer before I will upgrade my pc. Thanks a lotI have TC2120 Hp server running windows 2003 os. with 40Gb SCSI drive. you might want to disable the onboard video by going to safe mode and then when it boots up just go to your device manager and navigate to the display adapters and disable the one that you are not using.

It could also be your memory. Try reseating it. You won't always get Memory error beeps. Sometimes you won't get them at all and other times they will be too quiet to hear.
Did you get into Windows after you reinstalled, but the next time you booted the monitor started blinking? If that is the case then you installed the wrong video driver. You may have to do a "Repair install".
Another thing. If your monitor supports Digital and Analog. You may just have to switch the Monitor's Internal Input. There should be a button for that.
After reloading, make sure you install the motherboard drivers before you install any other drivers.
My ATI Radeon video card will not install unless I install the Motherboard drivers first.
