win xp graphics help

i have a dell dimension 23000, i just reinstalled my win xp completely new but my graphics are horrible! when i right click, properties, settings below the screen it says Display: (my monitor) on Color quality: (8 bit) how can i fix this?? i think im missing the graphics driver or something... please help

You have to install the driver for your Video card and for your monitor. If you don't have the Cd, drivers can be downloaded off their official company website. If you need further help, please post reply
