Win xp freezes when I try to save a lot of files to my rocketpod external hard drive. And If I cut the rocketpod off it says delayed write fail and the computers starts working again. My computer crashed when unzipping a 1 gb folder and it hasn't worked right since. Can anyone help me? My Comp Stats are 1.10 ghz 384 ram 18 gb hard drive and the rocketpod has 149 gb and half of it is still empty.

What you are attempting to do is a huge task given the tools you are working with.
Your memory is small given what you have preloaded OS wise and your drive may be fragmented thus making the unzipping a pain for the computer.
I would suggest upgrading your primary drive and RAM otherwise do the following first prior to unzipping.
Clear IE temp files
Do a scandisk or chkdisk on c: allow fix errors so it goes through the 5 stages.Defragment both drives.
Now give it a try unzipping the 1 gb file and allocate the output file to the second drive not to the drive your are unzipping from.
