Hi

I have just installed a new Iomega 250 Mb external USB drive. Win XP recognises the drive and it appears in explorer, however when I insert a disk and try to access the files, my system freezes.

I have, connected both the usb cable and power adaptor, used both 100 and 250 Mb disks both new and with data. I have tried the XP version of IOMEGA WARE from the iomega site and this doesn't work. Also tried is deleting the iomega softaware, using a registry cleaner and rebooting. Nothing seems to work.

regards,
Graham

I would take it back and exchange it. It's probably defective.
