Hi, I have windows XP obviously, and the files are continually Getting corrupt. It started with my BootSector, my Boot.ini, where i had to rebuild the boot files. Then my Enitre user Profile became corrupted and Windows automatically created a new user. But i ahd to move all the documents and files from y corrupted usetr to my new user. and Last but not least my boot up Registry was Corrupted.
now i think that it is all coming form the TuneUp Editor i am using, i edited my Splash screen, as well as the system themes. That is my only real suspicion. I would just like some advice as to what possibly could be corrupting my files like this every month or so.
(its almost like my comp has its own "time of the month")

One thing you might do, is check your memory.
Memory test http://memtest.org/ There is a version to create a bootable floppy diskette and/or an ISO for creating a CD. Run it overnight and any failures are unacceptable.
