My daughter was downloading updates from Microsoft for her Dell 2400 win xp and part way into the the downloading her computer started acting strange so she

The blue screen of death. Try this:

restart the computer and immediately start toggling the F8 key to see if the start-up screen will come up. if it does then choose to restore to an earlier date and see if it responds.

Ive tried restoring to an earlier date, but it wont let me, I tried restoring to a good configuration but it wont let me do that either. I even tried to format it but it denied me that as well. When I go into safe mode it takes me right back to that blue screen. I now have a error code. NTFS. Sys page_fault_in_non_page_area, stop: ox00000050 (oxbe000114, oxooooooo1, oxf911ff81, ox00000002), - address F911ff81 base at f9od0000, date stamp 41107eea
Any idea's Please, Thanks
