I tried downloading the 9.0 directx and doing what you said because they don't have 8.1 anymore since it's been a year. I still get color changes, and funny spots on my screen. I still get the nv4_disp.dll error, infinite loop crap. How can I fix this?

Hi! I'm using the sam card and experieced the same problem using Creatives drivers. Dont know if u have 3D Blaster or if u use there drivers. If so don't use nividas latest detonator and everything will work just fine, I hope! /azEk
