First of here is the warning I get:
==================================================================================================
Windows Security WarningWindows found that this file is potentially harmful.
To help protect your computer, windows has blocked access to this file.
==================================================================================================Now this happens when friends send me image files through msn messenger, I think it would do the same for Outlook Express 6 also, but haven't tried. I can recieve other files fine, txt, zips/rars etc.. but its really annoying that I can't recieve jpeg's or gif's etc..
When the warning window pops up it says you can still access the files by finding them, right click on the file and uncheck unblock, but it must delete the files because the files arn't where I saved them.
Can anyone help me try and fix this? Can I remove/disable windows security?
Any info would be great, thnx!
!Hmm!

Don't know about messenger, as I don't use it, but OE, which is linked to Messenger, has a tick box under Tools/Options/Security which stops downloading of possibly harmful attachments - try unticking this box but make sure you have a decent AV program running.

I had the very same problem, and couldn´t get any answer, but i kinda get the fix to this problem.
At the moment im able again to open received files in MSN Messenger (im able to open pictures and mp3 files that were marked as High Risk Files.)
You can download the StuffPlug-NG plugin (requires msgplus to load it) and there's an option to disable the security warning. (That's the one i did)
There´s another option after days surfing, but i haven´t tried them... please let me know. (It requieres Winows Registry modifications)
