on the users menu in windows task manager is there any way you can view users loged on on other comuters on your network? as it has the send message button and you cant use it if you are the only one logged on!!!! or any other free ways to send messages accross the network like the good old winpopup on 98..... I know you can use the "run" command prompt but this isnt usefull in my case

There are many small programs that allow you to send messages on a network. Just do a search for 'network messenger' or similar. I know of one in particular that is very small and simple. Its called 'StickIt'- they look like PostIt's but you can respond...

Again, there are many- some that are much more sophisticated and some that are more simple. Just look around and choose...

Good luck,
Larry
