Could someone tell me how to set Windows Explorer to open to My Computer by default (so that I get the same view of the drives, etc, as if I opened My Computer on the desktop). Currently, it opens to My Documents. I went into properties and saw that the "Start in:" field is currently "%HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%" but I'm not sure what to set it to to make the change. Thanks!

You already asked the same question 3 years ago & you got the answer too, remember?

Hmm, ok, don't know if you're trying to be persnickety, but actually, the question I asked 3 years ago was how to make it open to C:. That I understand. What I don't know is how to specfiy "My Computer".

Ah, the wonders of Google.
ANSWER:
Go to --> Windows Explorer properties (right click on Explorer)
The following should be in the "Target:" box:
"%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e,::{20d04fe0-3aea-1069-a2d8-08002b30309d}"

Glad you found it by googling. I could have given you the better answer in the links below. Together, they have everything you need to know to properly configure Explorer startup options.
