Do you mean XP? If everything is working right all you have to do is click shut down and it will turn off your computer.

What I meant is, how can I make it totally shut down and power off the computer when I click the shut down from START menu (like in WIN98)?!!!

- Goto Control Panel, then goto Power Options. - Click on the APM Tab, then check the "Enable Advanced Power Management support." - Restart your PC. It should now successfully complete the Shut Down process. I believe Easy CD or CD Creator can cause problems,if it still will not work
