win 98 and XP

I hda win98, in c: and install (with a lot of difficulties, like 7 hours instaling) win xp on d: later, i wanted to desinstall win 98, and fomated all c:, and now n one works, what can i do? i hve a startup disk, but it doesnt seems to work, lso, were i can download the winxp startup disk?

You must reinstall XP, because when you installed it the first time on drive D, it have made some files in your bootsector on drive c. So they are gone after formating C. Bad Luck

thanks for ur help Jeroen, now I need some of your advice, if i have the two partitions, C: and D:, WIndows 98 in the c:, How i Can make to put Win XP in the c: and erase the WIN 98 for ever?

you must re install everything bro. because your hd. has to be partitioned, so I'll suggest you to download delpart.ex look fot it in yahoo en restart your pc with the floppy of restar of win98 en after the a: change the floopy for the one with delpart.ex write down delpart and hit enter follow the instruccion and after thar fdisk to create your partitions en then install your win xp good luck........
