I work in a medical office where patients usually bring their x-rays on CD or DVD. There have been several times I insert the CD or DVD and get the following message "this is not a valid win 32 application" I have tried exploring the disck, opening BIN, tried opening all folders, clicked all icons. I tried to copy the CD/DVD to computer, but get the same error message. The valid application is supposed to be CDViewer. This is for Agfa radiological images. I have searched for an Agfa CDViewer but can't find one. Any suggestions as to what the problem might be?

Thank you for the replies. The CDViewer is actually on the CD I am trying to run. The problem is the "this is not a Win 32 application" I don't know what that means and/or why it won't run on XP Pro. If the viewer is on the CD then it should work.

We get many different CD/DVD from different places and they all work with the viewer on the CD. I just seems to be CDViewer that won't run.

I don't know what the image format is. That is the reason I need the CDViwer to run

As I said before, I have had this same problem with CD/DVD from different locations.

Unfortunately, when I call the location in question, I get an answering machine and no one calls back.

Look at the contents of the CD and report back with the file extensions. Have you tried copying the files from the CD to the local machine and just opening them from there?

No. My question is what are the file extensions of the images? Which mattie also asked.
