hi i just want to know if WinXP home ed. will work on my computer. i have an Amd Duron 1300mhz cpu, 384mb RAM. my OS is windows 98 se, i have had win 2k on my computer before but i had to go back to 98 coz win2k had problems

Yes it will. You have the specs for it. If you liked Win2K, you might want to consider XP Pro. Home edition is very limited for networking. Good Luck

No it isn't. XP Home can't join a domain. Other than that, its networking capabilities are basically identical to XP Pro (and 2k).

Unless you have something specific in mind that 2k can do but XP Home cannot?
