Hi All, I have a computer that boots up but that all it will do. When I try to access control panel it says I'm out of memory. I got to the task manager up but I'm not sure what to stop. There's like 100 things running!! I have tried accessing the D drive to run Norton on it, but no go. I'd appreciate anything you can tell me!! It's XP Home Edition Thanks.....

Are you saying, it was OK, now it's not? If so, try going back to a good Restore point. If System Restore doesn't work in Normal Mode, it might work in Safe Mode. First, go to start, run, msconfig. Then click the startup tab and click disable all. Restart. Then search for google for services that can be disabled in Windows XP and disable only the ones that are saft to be by going to start, run, services.msc. Andrew jablonskia@gmail.com

Thank You for the info... Managed to get into safe mode and did a system restore. Now I'm able to run NAV. So far it's picked up 10 viruses. THANK YOU!!!!!!!
