Yes, I would get rid of them. Wild Tangent is supposed to be some kind of super graphics software for on-line games. As I have never played any on-line games I don't know how it got onto my computer. It installed itself without any intervention from me. Must have sneaked in when I disabled by firewall for just two minutes. However, Ad-Ware soon got rid of it.

The mere fact that Ad-Ware didn't like was good enough reason for me to get rid of it.

Hi marshall; My Adaware update also found that Wild Tangent junk....52 entries, I think it was.
I deleted everything that it found......no problems with the deletion.
You also might want to run a search on all files and folders for "Wild Tangent", as I found a couple entries there too. Good luck!

If your system came with 3d games they won't work if WT is disabled.

Wild Tangent comes with new AIM messenger also. Have to uninstall through add/remove programs.

Hi peeps, mine came bundled when I bought my Dell, months ago - I never wanted it so I thought I deleted all of it months ago. But, it seems the recent Adaware update found left-over entries; so I deleted it all.
In my case, it was various games that I didn't want, but Dell threw it on my 'puter when I bought it. Take care, all!

I disagree with gilhoulisreef (sorry), but wildtangent doesn't have anything to do with your graphics.

I "inadvertantly installed" WT with some Winamp visualizations & games. After I got rid of it... those visualizations and games didn't work, but I can most definitely play any other 3D games.

get rid of it....

It also comes with Logitec. You can delete them.
