When i first turn on my pc after its been off for some time i get some blue screen that says

STOP: C000021a {Fatal System Error}

The session manager initialization system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc000026c
(0x00000000 0x00000000)
The system has been shut down

sometimes i have to reset about 6 times for my windows xp to load.

Sometimes when i first turn on my pc my windows xp starts when with my video driver not loaded and im on 800 x 600 and 4 bit and i cant increase it, until i wait about 1 hour until it loads, or i have to keep reseting until its back.

I did a clean install of windows xp and sp2 And i also reformatted AND got a new hard drive. so i basically formatted twice. Id appreciate any help. Thanks alot

It sounds like you have a bad connection someplace.

I would open the unit and reset everything. i.e. video card - sound card - modem.

Whatever you have in this unit may be half plugged-in and causing this type of behavior

there is either a conflict with a driver and a peice of hardware in your machine, or you have a faulty peice of hardware (bad video card, bad ram sector, ect.) you need to get updated drivers for all of you hardware, download if from another machine, put in on a cd, boot your machine into safe mode and load all the new drivers and startup your machine, if you still get the error start looking at hardware, remove all misc. PCI cards such as modems, network cards, ect. to only the bare essentials to boot, if you are still having the problem, change the ram and see if you still get the blue screen error and post back

1. windows updates does not always display an update for your hardware, you have to go to the manf. website for that
2. never remove ram or anything out of your computer while it is on you will ruin either the board or the card
3. to test the ram, go buy a new stick identical to yours and put it in its place, if you do not get the blue screen then you will know the other peice of ram is bad

The following is listed at sft-cyber.com in one of the stop errors. You may want to pursue this avenue.
Stop 0x000021A or STATUS_SYSTEM_PROCESS_TERMINATED---This indicates there is a serious security problem or a user mode subsystem problem, such as Win logon or the Client Server Runtime Subsystem (Csrss.exe). The most common cause is a third party program which should be removed or if a backup set has been partially restored, causing a mismatch in sytem files or if the System account no longer has permission to access the system files and folders

yes but then he would never be able to boot his machine into windows (which he can do after a couple of trys) so he has access to his system files and accounts, also a completely different stop error and description

i already tried two memory sticks and they both performed well, the only problem is my startup on first boot. I am wondering if its my video card, although it performs well and gives me good results for the card, im not really sure
