My WinXP won't remember any passwords, and it's driving me nuts!! (It's a short drive, but I still don't want to got there.) I enter the password for my email account, check Remember Password, finish, go back into the account setup and it's blank. If I enter the password when Outlook sends mail, it will retain it for about half the day, then my email fails to send and I have to into account setup and enter it again. If I go to a website that requires a password, I enter my logon and password, check Remember Password, but it doesn't. I have to enter it every time. I've looked through help for some setting but haven't found anything. Anyone have an ideas on this?? thanks tom

the same thing happens to me, but this is what i do, so i'll suggest it to you. just remember your password and forget about the "remember password" button.

In IE go to Tools/Internet Options/Content tab/AutoComplete button/Prompt to save passwords checkbox.
