Why my modem can't response

CPU/Ram: 2.4ghz / 256mb

I try to connect to internet using my home modem , but i can't register my username and password..., so i decide to ping the gateway.. and i got the messange destination net unrecheable . how i am going to know what is the problem either my modem ..or my connection failed.

Assuming that the modem connects, check that TCP/IP is enabled and that DHCP is enabled. If so, you may need to call your ISP for help on other settings.

Yes i got this setting on network, All of that already assigned.My DHCP, TCP/IP is enable. Is there any setup that i can try.

At a command prompt run IPCONFIG/ALL and then ping the DNS.

Every so often I get this too. Usually a reboot will cure it but sometimes not. When not, I will then make a new conncection and set it as default and it works

Sometimes it can't work,but my modem have indicator dsl signal, it will work when the signal is not blink, however it feel like crap when the dsl signal is blink. Urgh ... i also try to ping and it has reply message from dns.

Sorry guys.., my mistake that cause the adsl modem work incorrectly. I should put dsl filter after adsl splitter not from my wall phone line. That 's why i wondered my dsl indicator is always blinking , now it will work well.
