When I am on the Netscape home page, the resource meter shows I am constantly using 100% of the CPU. On IE or anywhere else, it indicates normal usages. How come it takes 100% of the CPU (Pentium 1.6) to just sit there on the Netscape home page?

Netscape just like RealOne Player is a resource hogger. Get rid of it, or keep it on there if you really need but try to stick with IE. Clear out your cache, history, temporary internet files, do a windows up, take off some programs you don't know and you'll be ok..
