2 things ~ What I mean is when I type a topic in the browser bar it takes me to a page with tons of sites with my topic in them right, when I click on a page my computer redirects me to something totally different usually an ad page for bizrite, nexttag or something like that. The only thing that seems to stop this is for me to copy the actual page address and put that in the browser bar, then I will get the page I want.

When I did what you said and disabled java the I just got a blank screen and the computer told me it prevented the page from automatically redirecting.

Download these two programs. Run Malwarebytes first and delete whatever it finds. Then run TDSkiller and choose cure when it finds the virus.

we already have malware and it didn't catch it but the other program did. When we went to remove the virus it then said it didn't exist. I wrote it down, it's in a locked file and it's named SPTD, said it is a kernel driver located in C:windows..... My husband tried finding in directly from the c drive but we just can't find it and we can't find a way to remove it.
