why cant i burn purchased songs from Imesh

Specs: Windows XP
I 'm on Imesh's free trial period and have purchased several songs..I was about to use one of those songs in my Windows Movie Maker as a theme song to a movie i was making...However when attempting to import one of those songs to movie maker I got a warning that those songs were "protected" and i couldnt use. Then, curious, I went back to Imesh to my "purchased" in the Library section to see if I could burn the songs..I clicked on one song got the drop down menue where the "burn cd" was not highlighted. Clicking it was of course useless and silly.... So I'm wondering what's up? I tried to burn a song or two from Windows Media player..that didnt work either. During the trial period am i not allowed to burn cds regardless of having purchased the songs?

You may have purchased your songs for you own enjoyment but what you did not purchase is the copyright to the songs.

Incorporating a song into a movie of your own that you do not hold the copyright to breaks every copyright rule in the book.

Thanks Stuart for your time...Imesh says I can burn my songs to a CD..that it is legal to download them to a CD. that's what I'm most concerned about. Otherwise I end up only listening to them on my computer. Their tech support is terrible..im waiting too long for their answers to a few related topics such as this..of course being the genius that i am with computers, I might have done something wrong initially. The movies that I make are just for my own enjoyment and I have no intent to sell or in anyway profit by them. In fact I think I helped the sales of at least one song as several viewers asked me for the name of the song that was playing in the background of one of my homemade videos. Thanks again for you time. Robin
