Hi all.
In my quest to stay on top on a healthy PC I find that in my quiver of tune up tools, I do not have a Registry Cleaner program.
I did a Google and downloaded a free version off the net, but when I ran it I found the it only fixed 20 errors.
I had 480...gasp choke!!!
I uninstalled this program, hence my question.
Can anyone please advise me what is a good free registry cleaner and automatic repairer without a limited repair size as I do not know anything about the registry, hence the auto fix requirement.
Regards

I use Regseeker to clean my Registry. On the first use it will possibly find many items to clean up. You can choose Select All and delete. If you find that your computer does not work correctly there is a backup where you can reinstall the items.
Then do them a few at a time to check ones that you can safely delete with no problems.
You just have to make sure the box (bottom left hand corner) in the "Clean My Registry" Panel is checked.
I have used the Program for 2 years with no problems.
It can be downloaded at http://www.majorgeeks.com/download2579.html

CCleaner is a freeware cleaner program with a decent registry cleaner.

Hi guys ...again.
It looks like CCleaner won the toss.
Regseeker appeared to find more items but I found it not as user friendly as CCleaner.
Besides, CCleaner looked prettier too :-)
