Comment: Where to find the codecs downloaded by Windows Media Player? I have downloaded a codec and think that it is causing some sound problems on my laptop: the sound is reduced even when I put it at maximum...

Reply: (edit)Thanks a lot. I disable the codecs but it doesnt do anything about the sound. I have a Compaq Evo laptop and I got the sound reduced while I was playing a movie on Media player. I put all the sound levels to maximum, even in every program that uses sound but I still got a very low sound. Do you know what might cause that?
