Norton crashes my dual boot system.I tried(and seem to like so far) a freeware program called AVG.It can be had from here. http://www.grisoft.com/html/us_index.html

It has to be Norton 2002 for XP, no earlier version will do, go to Symantec.com They are offering a 30.00 rebate expiring very soon.

actually, you are all wrong. for a free virus scanner and an XP version at that, plus free updates, goto http://www.free-av.com ... I have used the 98 version for months and I am now using the XP version and its great!! Cheers.

Hate to throw a monkey-wrench into the thread, but NOBODY has mentioned the best ant-virus program according to PC World and also TechTV ----- PANDA SOFTWARE'S Platinum or Titanium AV programs.
