I've installed Mcaffee virusscan, the one that worked on Win 98 but not in XP. So my question is: What virusscanner should I install that works on XP

Norton crashes my dual boot system.I tried(and seem to like so far) a freeware program called AVG.It can be had from here.

It has to be Norton 2002 for XP, no earlier version will do, go to Symantec.com They are offering a 30.00 rebate expiring very soon.

Hate to throw a monkey-wrench into the thread, but NOBODY has mentioned the best ant-virus program according to PC World and also TechTV ----- PANDA SOFTWARE'S Platinum or Titanium AV programs.

Here is a link to the PC World Review titled "The Undisputed Champ"......Norton and McAfee can't hold a candle to this program...check for yourself:

http://www.pandasoftware.com/press/pcworld/

Then download the BEST there is. Updated more frequently and blowing away the retail stuff we're used to buying.

If you want to skip the review and go to the site it is:
