Greetings,I have not posted for a while. I would like to ask for opinions , as to which is the preferred software for virus Removal? I recently ran Webroot Spy Sweeper, and then Ad-Aware through this system. Ad-Aware cleaned other problems that Spy Sweeper didn't.I occasionally have a Mssearch Exe. pop up showing it found 4 critical errors. I open Task Manager, and end process-it goes away for a short time, then appears again!I utilize SBCYahoo Dsl, and I think I picked up a Bug. Would System Restore benefit me? Thank You -EZ

System restore will not help you if you picked up a bug, because a lot of times they are stored in the registry. Doing a System Restore will only restore an already corrupt registry. You should turn off System restore and do a virus scan in Safe Mode. After the scan, you can enable System Restore again. I use AVG antivirus. It works pretty well and it's free. You can also do a scan at www.trendmicro.com. Good Luck

It makes them think you're up to something...

Try this link
Hijack This
And copy and paste your log to the Analyzer Page
Also try Trojan Scan" You're only as safe as your last update "

Try NOD32 antivirus

I think this is by far the best antivirus product.
