Hi Guys,
I have a dual boot system right now with Win98 on the C partition and XP Pro on my F partition. I want to get rid of Win98 and put XP on my C drive and format my F drive after the installation. I suspect I'll get a dual boot option with 2 XP installations on it. That's OK , but what's the easiest way to transfer all my stuff from my current XP (F) to the new installation (C)before removing the old XP system on F. TIA.

I think the official version would be to do a ntbackup of everything. Personally I prefer a total clean install. Gets rid of the cruft.

if it was me,I would install windows xp over windows 98 (over writing it) then once this is done boot up in c drive and then just copy and paste everything (I WANTED) off of f drive, than go to my compter on c drive and right click on f drive and tell it to format it.keep in mind when you install windows xp over 98 you may not have a dual boot anymore.
