Hi Guy´s.

Sometimes my computer hangs like a mother and everything stalls. What I do is check out the processes that are running and the amount of ram/cpu their using.
Horror!!! Something unbelievebly nasty is gobbling up 170000 ram and 99 cpu. This beast is named cideamon.exe and is not to found on my system by any other means...

What is it? How do I kill it?

Thanks HoneyMonster

HoneyMonster, Cideamon.exe is part of XP's indexing service, designed to make
searches of your hard disks faster. Check out the link below and follow the instructions to disable it and it should correct your problem.
