Win 98 probably. Xp and W2K are almost the same thing.

absolutely. Win98 would give you the best gaming performance.

I love my XP for game play. I started palying games when it was still DOS and the good games came on three to four 1/4 floppies. I've had the best luck with XP and can't imagine going back to Win98. I usually go through 2 to 3 games a month and have yet to find a game that XP couldn't paly. I would suggest XP to anyone, especially game players.

Definitely XP! The only draw back to XP is some of your games that worked on DOS, Win95 or 98 may not be compatible with XP.

It all depends... if u absolutely have to have to squeeze every ounce of performance on ur games (like if u have a weak video card and not that much ram) then u should stick with Win98. However if u have a good Video Card and plenty of ram 512 is good then go with XP or 2k.. they are much more stable than 98. And the performance difference is not noticeable with the naked eye... only with benchmarks.

I hoped I helped ;)
