Reply: (edit)No porno lol OK (;-) but what about all the likely culprits cited in this article and how often do you reboot the machine? Remember XP is a tired old OS so it sometimes forgot what it's supposed to do. i_XpUser

Reply: (edit)The variation of time with usage is unlikely to be noticeable unless it is over a period of weeks or possibly months. CMOS clocks are not always too accurate either, varying with how long the machine is powered up or left unused. However, if the clock is suddenly changing time by a large amount it sounds like you need a new CMOS battery. [Note that OS's cannot tire with age and forget things - only hardware and people can do that LOL] DerekW

Reply: (edit)Check to make sure that you have the correct time zone in your clock settings. Right click on the time in the taskbar, click on adjust time and then click on time zone.
