OK, there's something wrong with Mozilla Firefox, and this has really pissed me off. OK, it started just with the address bar. For example, when I type in something, it puts the cursor back to the previous character. If I type the letter "C", the cursor goes back ton the beginning of that C, and if then I type the letter "A", then I get "AC", instead of "CA"... What's wrong with it?! Is this a virus? This not only happend on the address bar, but on all TextBoxes, for example, to write this message, I had to open up Notepad and write it in there, and then paste it on the browser. This is what "Hello, world!" would look like:
elo,ord!lw lH
lool!drw ,leH
Hellorld!ow ,I know it's not a stuck key problem since this only happens in Firefox... WHAT THE FREAK is wrong here?! Ohh, and also, when I select some text, it's hard to de-select it also... PLEASE help me! Thanks!
PS: DAMN! Now that I finished writing in Notepad, I went top post and it said "Invalid subject", WHAT THE FREAK?! As you can see, I am REALLY pissed off. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi: First of all, calm down. Now, if you have the latest version, 1.0.4, then uninstall Firefox and reinstall it. By uninstall, I mean completely, including any files in the Registry. Disable all running programs like virus and spyware programs prior to reinstalling Firefox. Then try it again. Good luck.

Could be an extention that was installed that is corrupt..
Uninstall FireFox.
then Navigate to:
C:\Documents and settings\Username\application dataDelete the Mozilla folder.
Now install firefox.
If the problem still exists then it's not firefox that is the problem.Junk Internet Explorer,
Get Firefox! You'll be happy you did.

Also, export your bookmarks with the bookmarks manager then delete your profile folder when you uninstall so you get a clean profile with your new install. Your profile folder is C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Mozilla.
This usually takes care of most things that happen. It's nice to be able to uninstall something completely to start fresh when something goes wrong like this.
I don't know what "files" are in the registry that Firefox puts there that the previous poster is talking about. I never edit my registry in between installs of FF.

Yep, I uninstalled, deleted everything in the Mozilla folder in App. Data, reinstalled, and voila! Thanks everyone! ;)

Problem STILL persisted... the actual problem was that RuneScape was on a tab, so then I closed it and it started working...
