whats wrong with morpheus? I have no problems, and I've heard that kazaa was the problem with the spyware and all. If there's something I dont know, please let me know.

My Kazaa works fine in XP. I upgraded from WIndows 2000 Professional. Also my modem connects 10,000 bps faster with XP.

i use kazaa..
kazaa and morpheus are basically the exact same program.
the only way they load crap is if you leave gator/webhancer checked.
make sure you don't install any alternate programs and you'll be ok.

I miss Napster.. no side programs, no spyware, great music..

Winamp didnt work for me when I upgraded to XP. It froze after a moment of playing an mp3. I solved this problem by uninstalling it. I dont play mp3s much anyhow :) Anyone else have problems with Winamp and XP?

If you're talking about music transfer programs, the best 3 are.. Kazaa, Morpheus, and Audio Galaxy.
Be careful, because all three try to install crap. but you can avoid it by unchecking it.

Surely I'm not the only one to get error reports in Win xp .Who are all these anonoymous people sending in these error reports, the Microsoft Database is loaded with them, the most common ones relate to Media Player,Morpheus,Device Drivers, etc; One other thing,on the Microsoft Packaging it states quite clearly that Win XP is only upgradable from Win 98 and Win ME, Yet a lot of people seem to have upgraded from Win 2000 am I missing something here.

I have Morpheus, Kazaa and WinMix.........all work fine for awhile, then you have to delete the data base from Kazaa and or Morpheus and then it's back to working again.A pain in the you know what, but,,,,,if you can't get tunes from one you can try the others. WinMx has never given me problems tho....so far so good...Best to have just one at a time running I found..Hope this helps...

I'm having a strange problem using XP Operating system with Morpheus. It appears when I select file(s) and drag them from the default folder (C:\PROGRAM FILES\MORPHEUS\MY SHARED FOLDER) they become unusable (The error message I get is Access Denied). However if I copy them to another folder using the copy/paste features they work fine. This problem only pertains to working in the default Morpheus folder. I can create folders on my computer and drag files all over and they execute fine without having any problems. Any suggestions!!!

Thanks
