Hi friends,
I have this problem from two months and i gave my best to meet over it but not able to it. I have some exes files which are not being installed in my machine. For eg one is Alt-Tab Task Switcher Powertoy for Windows XP. This exe is not getting installed. the error reads :

The wizzard was interupted before Alt-Tab Task Switcher Powertoy for Windows XP could be compeletly installed.
Your system has not been modified. To compelete installation at another time, please setup agian.

I have done all possiable actions that i could do. I have fresh installation of windos xp with sp2. I have tried closing windows firewall, i even turned down anti virus. I than googled and checked it out with microsoft website. There was not any information on the website but displayed that download dot NET 1.1 I installed dot net 1.1. but it dint work. I even tried dot net 2.0. but even it dint work. Of course i am the admin of the machine. It is not getting installed on the d drive also. What must be the the problem????

Please help me as it is not only of that one particular exe but some other exe are also being affected. like the exe of Blue soleil.

I do not have any Power Toys, but do you meet
these requirements as stated that I found on an M$ page ???

Important

If you installed PowerToys prior to April 23, 2002, you must uninstall your old PowerToys before installing the versions available here.

PowerToys only work with U.S. English regional settings.
--------------------
If the error message says
'Your system has not been modified'
I wonder if that is referring to the
Regional Settings in Control Panel.??
