Hi everyone,
currently i have a very bad situation. you have to know first thing before continue reading, i know only a few of this kinds of thing. software i know, but no hardware knowledge, only a few.

ok here goes, when i first bought this computer, it was win XP and then i installed win2000 server, and a month later, i installed XP back. (i needed something so i use win 2000, now that i am done i change back)
then my brother (worse than me!) unplug my memory without telling me, so i went home from work and i turn on my computer, suddenly a beep sound was beeping, and i was thinking, what's wrong with my motherboard, (that is a sound if your motherboard is in trouble right?) then i opened the case and found there is no memory, so i turn it off, and plug in my memory, but then the sound went off, but it couldn't go in, the monitor was all dark, blank, nothing. the cpu though, is blinking, the red light was on. then i turn it off again, i re-plug, then turn it on, and the memory card got burnt! it actually burn! smoke coming out, i got freaked out turn it off and unplug it, 2 gold chip was burnt i suppose, so i take another one, (i have 3 memory, but i only use 1) and i plug it again, but to another slot, (mine is hyper thread, so i bought a mother board with 2 memory slots, but never use it) then it went in.

problem 1 solved, comes another, and this is what bothers me, it shut down itself sometimes, no warning just beeped, gone. i updated my antivirus, and scnned them, nothing on them. what happen? any bad sector or something? tell me please..........

First, kick your brother's backside as he's almost certainly caused your problems. I guess you reinserted the memory chip incorrectly - hence the burning - you may now have damaged the board completely. Start by making sure all of your cards/memory are properly seated then, if that doesn't improve things take it to a tech to have a look at - if you don't know about hardware you could make things worse.

to be safe always unplug the power ,either from the back of the power supply or the outlet that it's plugged into. most newer computers have a minimal amount of voltage running when plugged in, even when it's turned off.
and you can run a memory test using Windows Memory Diagnostic

you can also run the System ANalyser, Diagnostic and Reporting Assistant (sandra) the lite version is free.
