GAH. Bill makes things hard. What is the path to the History folder? I want to delete all history items with the click of a batch file as in "del c:\documents and settings\username\local settings\history\my computer\*.*" (within the history folders there is always a "my computer" folder that contains shortcuts to all documents viewed for the past day, week, weeks, etc. -> i want to delete everything under the "my computer" folder for all dates at once)

You running 98 or XP? Your OS up top says 98, this is the XP forum. By the way What history? Are you talking Internet, Document or Media File? The world is full of willing people, some are willing to work, others are willing to let them; just a thought!

win xp. Documents. -no not concerned with IE history. In explorer it's under c:\documents and settings\username\local settins\history\{2 weeks ago, last week, etc}\My Computer do you know the location im talking about? i can find it in explorer easily but i cant 'find it' from a command prompt...
