It is BKDR_WISDORR.K! You should go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ since your antivirus program has failed to detect it. Their scan should detect it, and they have removal instructions for you to deal with it. Take care and all the best!

Norton 2003 has completely failed me. While its able to detect viruses, it doesnt do a damn thing to quarintine, repair or delete them. Im also certain that several other programs are running that are giving me problems: psfree.exe, instan~1.exe (might be) lsass.exe, ntconfig.exe, config33.exe. Can I confirm these?

psfree.exe should be your popup program from Panicware instan~1.exe is spyware, Spybot and Adaware should be able to detect and fix it lsass.exe is normal LSASS.exe is the sasser worm, notice the capital letters. If you have XP's firewall or another firewall and all the critical updates you would not get sasser. If it is the sasser worm, Norton will no longer be working, and you are the one that let Norton down.

Go to the security/virus section of this forum and use the link for useful security tools. Run all your scans while you are in the SAFE MODE!
