|In the subject line it is Strawberry.atr.bmp but in your text it is strawberry atr.bmp - which is it?|
On the face of it .bmp says it is a picture but be careful. Make sure you are set to show all file extensions because it might have a hidden extension which would make it a possible "nasty".
Go to Control Panel > Folder Options > View tab.
Make sure there is no tick in "Hide extensions for known file types" then Apply/OK your way out.
If the file name and extension is unchanged then right click it and run any Anti-Virus or Anti-Malware otpions you have in the context menu. If it passes it should be OK to double click it and see if the picture gives a clue as to what it is.
If it now has an additional extension, such as Strawberry.atr.bmp.pif, then DON'T double click it but report back and tell us exactly what it now says. No harm checking it for viruses (right click as per previous para) tho.
