I have seen snmp.exe running in the background and I have never noticed this before. Should I care and is it needed? I have a webcam that I rarely run and I use a cable net connection. Also tcpsvcs.exe is seen running too. If memory serves me that is refering TCP protocal with which I guess has to do with my cable connection (tcp/ip protocal).
Anyway, I hate unneeded processes, do I need these and if not, how do I permently delete these proceses if needed?
Thanks

SNMP EasyAgent SDK Home PageAbout SNMP EasyAgent SDK
SNMP EasyAgent toolkit provides a framework for extending the Microsoft SNMP agent running on Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Windows XP. By using the provided framework, each application can easily export and import its data through the SNMP agent and can be remotely managed by using the SNMP protocol.
The SNMP EasyAgent SDK consists of two DLL files:The first DLL (called EasyAgent server) is loaded by the Microsoft SNMP Agent (SNMP.EXE) as an extension agent. Under Windows 95, 98 and ME, the SNMP.exe process runs as a process in the user mode (not being shut-down after the logout) while under Windows NT, 2000 and XP, the SNMP.exe process runs as a NT System service.
The second DLL (called EasyAgent client) is used by an application that wants to export and import its data to the network via the SNMP protocol. The application can run either in the user mode or as a NT System service.
In addition to these two DLLs, the SNMP EasyAgent requires WinSNMP and WinMIB support files, MIB Compiler and properly installed Microsoft's SNMP agent.
At the startup of the application, the EasyAgent client DLL and the SNMP EasyAgent server DLL establish a permanent connection. The application then retrieves handles of the data in the MIB sub-tree and initializes the data. After a successful initialization, the data can be retrieved or set to a new value from the network via the SNMP protocol.
