I found a file running on computer one day called DUST.exe. I did a search and removed all files then removed the registry key as well. Now when my computer boots up it gives me an error upon start up ____________________________________________ DUST.EXE
Windows cannot fine dust.exe Make sure you typed the name correctly then try again ____________________________________________
Can anyone help me in what i did wrong. I searched the registry and removed all the dust.exe registry keys (1) and the files on my computer (4). what else can i do to prevent this program (or my computer) from trying to startup. Or just simply stop this error message.

Let's have a look, Download 'Hijack This!'. Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan". When the scan is finished, click "Save Log", and copy and paste it in a reply. HijackThis!

Thanks again Tom41. Rebooted with no problems. I hope that's the end of that.
BUT be warned all of you...DUST.exe is apparently affiliated with randomiser.exe which is a known virus / trojan connected to mscache.
Even after i removed all randomiser and mscache and dust.exe I still had to use HijackThis to remove a further dust.exe file (Thanks to Tom41) which a search never came up with.
Thanks again TOM!
