Reply: (edit)I personally prefer 8.0. It is a DOS based backup, 3 times faster, and even Norton says it is less apt to fail as it is dos.

Reply: (edit)I believe a new feature included with Ghost 9 is incrimental backup. I don't have Ghost 9 so I can't say much about it. I do use Ghost 8, and I think everyone should have something equivelent. I noticed this morning that the local CompUSAs were selling Ghost and Partition Magic bundled for $30 after 2 rebates ($40 manu.), ($20 upgrade).

Reply: (edit)I should have elaborated I guess. I have casperxp, ghost 9.0 and ghost 8.0 and prefer 8.0 DOS backup or cloning.

Reply: (edit)Hello, A good back up prog is Acronis 7 or 8. I use Acronis 7 and back up to a usb2 external hard drive, wonderfull not let me down yet. With the incrementals I have even felt safe to switch off system restore. TERRYCO
