Deleting cookies may affect your quick and automatic access to some web sites that use them to identify you from a previous visit. (If you had to sign in, you may have to sign in again.) It will not affect your bookmarked "favorites". Many users delete cookies regularly.

Hi Jake, hi everyone,

No, you will not loose your Favorites.

No, the websites will not load slower.

Sites such as Computing.net and others will use a cookie for you login information, user name, password, ect...

These are considered "good cookies" however, along with the "good cookies comes "bad cookies", so it is a good idea to occasionally delete the cookies along with the temoporary internet files.

As long as you know your username and passwords to the different sites you visit there is no problem in deleting the cookies.

Good Day!
Mesich
