When you go to Windows Update there is a heading there to see what updates have been installed. It is called update history. Why would you be concerned about Anti-virus updates?

you can check for and remove windows updates within the add/remove programs in control panel.
make sure you have a check mark placed where it says 'show updates'
and for your anti-virus updates...well it depends on what anti virus program you use.

Was interested in Anti Virus updates as my ISP has reduced the speed for exceeded usage.
Had to check with them and they advised Windows and Anti Virus updates could have consumed some of my allowance.

Are you refering to low disk space as in Hard Drive space?
OR
Are you refering to certain ISP dial-up accounts that are limited as in "the more you pay the more time on the Internet you get" type of deal with your isp?
or
Are you refering to your paid storage quota as in an online backup storage type of deal?

You have a pretty sad ISP if they use that as an excuse. Windows updates are probably about 30 or 40 megabytes max each month and anti-virus updates are probably less than that. We are talking about 60 or 80 megabytes, most ISP will not bat an eye if you have 10 or 15 gig of downloading. So in perspective that is like blaming 60 megabytes of downloading when 10,000 megabytes is the total. You need to find a different ISP, as should anyone with the same problem.
