Seems like all I have gotten since loading it is X-tra P-roblems. Spend more time trying to download patches, drivers, install, uninstall, install, trying to figure out how to disengage the messenger every time I want to check my mail in outlook, etc. The booklet they provide with the CD at purchase time is worthless for. I installed a 99 dollar piece of software that rendered my 200 dollar CDRW useless as a burner. NERO will not work properly.... Headed toward uninstall and sell if I can figure out how to do that!!!

As far as CD burning in Windows XP.... I've just been using the latest version of Windows Media Player included with XP, and it included full burning and ripping capabilities directly too and from CDs..... works fine with a DVDROM and with an old 2x Yamaha burner...

Just so you know, I wasn't kidding around and coming up with something "fun." Bill Gates said in an interview with ZDNet that "XP stands for a whole new "windows eXPerience." It was code-named "Whistler" for years, but the marketed name DOES come from "windows eXPerience."

You you want to get windows XP. You must keep in mind that it is eXPensive. and also that you must be an eXPerienced user. Otherwize you should eXPect a lot of eXtreme Problem. Once you start eXPloring Windows XP, You will notice that you need to be an eXPert. If not, with all the bad eXPeriences that you gonna have each time eXPlorer crashes, you will become an eXPert.
But be awared that to use XP you must have Xtra Power in you system. Otherwize it may eXPlode with issues.
so eXPlore, gain eXPerience, become an eXPert, and get Xtra Power, and take advantage of this new eXPerience. And forget the eXtra Price. Cause even if it is eXPensive, it is also Xtra Powerfull.
