Hi to all,

I posted recently a message about putting a CD inside the DVD CD/reader of my laptop resulting into a BSOD. I installed SP3 yesterday, and I get a crash now just by opening the CD drawer ... nice improvement !

I checked the error log and it seems that the crash is due to 2 missing files :

eLock2BurnerLockDriver
eLock2FSCTLDriver

Can anybody give me some insight on the use of these files and how I can install them into my laptop ?

Thanks in advance - Claude

Hi Valerie,

Thanks for the hint. I scanned and re-scanned Google but found no item resolving my issue.

I found a post on a forum quoting exactly the same problem, bur no clue for the solution.

What would be really helpful to me would be to find a place to download the files from.

I installed a USB attached DVD reader to try and bypass the problem. SSDD ...

Thanks for helping, if anybody can - Claude
