Ghost drives and drivers refers to stuff that you can't see in regular mode, but they show up when you go into safe mode.

It is possible to have drives and drivers installed that don't exist! It's a windows thing. Here's how to check:

Press F8 while your machine is booting and you will enter what is called safe mode.

Go to the hardware manager and choose system. Look at each item in your system and be sure it belongs. If not, delete it
