I just bought an 80g WD hardrive. It is detected by the BIOS and Win XP pro when installed in the secondary IDE slot except that in the control panel hardware list the "Properties"button for the hard drive is unclickable.I have tried many things with no result including changing the target ID in the bios.Detecting it with a start up disk did not do the trick either.Bios update ?No result,I am running the latest one.Can anybody help please? mobo:asus P4T 512 RAM I must also say that a 40 G is detected but not the 80. WD site doesn't have a solution for this problem. Thanks for any type of help.
