I have a new Dell laptop, I want to get rid of the Dell wireless assistant and us the Windows wireless set up but the window wireless is not there. When I click the wireless(bottom right)and "Veiw wireless networks" it shows windows is not configuring my wireless. I click " change advanced settings " wireless properties comes up but there is no tab for Wireless networks.

Go to Control Panel>Network Connections, right click your Wireless Connection, and click Properties. On the Wireless Networks tab, check "Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings" and click OK. Exit the Network Connections window.
